A Legacy of Caring and Compassion

Founded in 1876, our funeral home has established a legacy of compassionate service that extends over 125 years. For over fifty of those years, we have been part of Astoria and the greater Queens community, offering assistance and support to families when a death occurs.

In June of 2008, we acquired the Basis Funeral Home and the Peter Angerame Funeral Home. We have proudly returned these once corporate-owned firms to local, family ownership. Both were relocated to the Joseph Farenga and Sons Funeral Home on Ditmars Boulevard.

We vow to continue the longstanding tradition of personal service that you have come to expect from a family-owned funeral home. Should you ever require funeral services, you can be assured that the assistance you receive will be from someone you consider a friend and neighbor.
